Hey, crazy lady....

So I was half listening to the radio this morning and caught Carrie Underwood singing "Before He Cheats". Every time I hear that song the thought that runs through my mind is "Wow, psycho much?" Followed by "Hmm.... I wonder if they were actually going out?"

So yesterday I'm talking to a lady about her vacation and she said she thinks she needs $3k available for her debit card. Thinking she means the debit card for her account here I call her back and leave a message she has $9k here and I can sell some stock to get the other $3k she needs. So she calls to me today and asks if I got her voicemail from last night. Thinking I could go back and listen to it and do whatever is needed I say, "Yup" (even though I ALWAYS forget to check VM). So she says, "Well, so I should have another $6k right?" And I say, "No you have $9k available to use with your debit card." "And she says, "You transferred it all!?!"

Aaaaaaand busted!

So I have to put her on hold and call up VM, and have to forward through FIVE other messages (since I haven't checked it since last Friday) to get to her message, (in which she clarifies that she meant her debit card for her regular checking account and can I transfer $3k of the $9k she has here to her checking account at the bank) then get back on the phone and try to act like I knew what she was talking about the whole time.

Awkward is an understatment.

Random Thought - #1

I finally bought cough medicine for the cough I have had for 2.5 weeks. The bottle says that the medicine will make my cough more productive. That's kind of a strange thought - having a more productive cough. Like it can now vacuum my living room or file my tax returns or balance my checkbook. Unfortunately, even with medicine, my cough is still pretty lazy. Next step, cough suppressent. Down with unproductive coughs!
